I completely agree! I just replaced my SS Gen1 alarm with a Gen3.  I was told it was better.  It is certainly not better as far as distance from Entry points is concerned.  I do have a two floor larger home, but Gen. 1 did the job....

No, they have not, but then they very seldom do announce what they are working on (and sometimes not even after they release it for sale :-) SS2, which would benefit from it the most, has essentially 0 chance of one coming out.  That system is

I bought the system online that said it was for large homes. When I set it up, I put the base station in the center of the home but was having difficulty getting sensors to connect even on the same level of the home. Some were 100+ ft away - for example a side door. I finally got everything connecte

I've tried using entry sensors every which way on my overhead garage doors and I can't find anywhere to locate them where they won't get ripped off whenever the doors go up or down. Has anyone figured out a way to use entry sensors on overhead garage doors? Would be great if SimpliSafe had a solutio

Etsy seller. Simplisafe garage door bracket. It's $4. I used two and put two 3M adhesive strips on them. Holds fine on that metal strip on the side of the garage door. I personally used teh aqara sensor model, but that's another story. https://www.e
