How can we set the recording time? Why can’t it be as long as we are watching or until we stop the manual recording? I was monitoring and then recording an intruder and the recording stopped just as their face would have been visible.

@WCM49​ I have the same issues with any of my 10 cameras. I'm just sucking it up until I decide what brand I'm going to replace them all with. It's a fairly good entry level system, but you bump into a wall before long and SS doesn't seem responsive

@simplisafe_admin​ Seriously? Move the BS closer to a camera....So what about the camera that you move it away from in doing that? That's not a solution, it's a tap dance around the situation.

Negative review online is the answer. This will affect their result status position upon google search. When their online present6 and advertisement go south they will respond.

When will this be addressed? I’m missing thefts because of this. Please please please let user set recording time and add buffer on either side.

I would like to see a longer record time on the outdoor camera. If someone triggers the camera then stays still, the video stops. Then starts up if they move again, sometimes not recording till out of sight.
