Wow, nearly 2 years without a response from SimpliSafe on this issue. I would have chosen a different system had I read about this before purchasing.

I want to suspend the camera motion sensor like a ring doorbell where you can suspend the detection and recording of video for a certain amount of time. Why doesn't SimpliSafe give this as an option on the Dashboard where you can easily enable and disable the video sensor?

Dave D - I’m not worried about space, just don’t like a bunch of useless videos sitting there.  If something real does happen I don’t want to wade through a months videos to make sure I know what is going on.   It’s just my nature to keep
