My Base Unit is not within earshot of some of my sensors. This means I cannot hear the base unit when I test a sensor (and am alone).   Does anyone have an idea or trick so that I can test and verify operation by myself?

Thanks for the suggestions and comments. I think the easiest for me is the cordless phone intercom feature. The phones are just sitting there waiting to be used :-) Captain11 - I king of got accustomed to that pleasant voice and would miss it (and

How do I shut off this beep every time I go in and out door? It must wear out the batteries and it drives me nuts. If I unplug will I have to set the whole thing up again?

Be sure you are trying to shut off the right sensor. and/or For no valid reason, but it has worked at times --- turn that sensor back on and make it function once. Then turn it off and see if you got the result you wanted. (Don't laugh at this. I'

Power went out with the recent hurricane (Sally). Approx. 12 hours later I thought to check the system. Dead as a doornail.  Can someone from SS explain why and how to ensure this doesn't happen again?   Terribly disappointed at finding this out

You're right, it doesn't say "at least" It says UP TO --- which covers everything from 0 to 24 hrs. So an hour or two would comply with the claim for backup time.

"Up too" is not the same as "At least" Covered in Up Too is 1 hour - more or less. So many things to consider. I would suspect SS's test/conclusion was based on Lab type conditions (as suggested prior). I'm usually wary of advertised maximums and

When I change batteries in SS items do they have to be re-installed, re-booted, or any other procedure? Especially of interest is the Base and Keypad items. If there is a printed procedure, where can I find it? My Keypad has been "lighting up" on it's own and suspect batteries getting old.

Captain11 --- Thanks. Am heading to the "Help" area.

Some questions about the "Video Doorbell Pro" -- Is the video only available LIVE? Can I access somewhere/something to see a past event? Like if I was away from home and other devices. If the vid is retained, for how long?

Again, Thanks for that.

Thanks for the response. Is Monitoring service/subscription required for the "Cloud" recording service? Or is it available to all users of the unit?
