@rubendgarcia​ It hasn't been fixed at all after being known about for years now. The only way it would be fixed is a redesign of the camera and with the Indoor Wireless Alarm Camera I don't see them dedicating any money or resources to fixing these

Dear SimpliSafe, Why do you give us the option to disable motion push notifications for alarm modes (off, home, away) on the new wireless smart alarm indoor camera if it STILL sends those push notifications even if you have them turned off for all modes? I would love to get push notifications for a

@emily_s​ I've left it on for now but I just selected all the activity zones for the motion detection for it not to trigger on the hopes that it gets fixed.

A while back I posted about how someone had walked into my driveway late at night to check my car doors and how my SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro ($180) failed while my Wyze Cam v3s ($30) worked just fine. (Even the Wyze Cam v3 that is inside my house pressed against the window, that is further away

@lance843​ it's because of the limitation of the range of the PIR sensor used in the doorbell camera. Had the same issue and brought it up over a year ago 🤷.

@worthing the reason the doorbell camera failed to pick it up is that it mainly relies on a PIR sensor for motion detection of my memory is correct. That sensor picking up temperature changes can vary wildly from day to day, morning to afternoon. I d

The old SimpliCam would record on motion and show the video in the timeline. Just installed a new Smart alarm camera and I can see the motion events in the timeline but there is no recorded video. I have it set to capture motion in all modes (Off/Home/Away). Also I will get push notifications for th

Found out when you remove a camera it doesn't actually unsubscribe it from the recording plan or your account. All my old cameras that either had to be returned due to the noise issue or like my video doorbell where the battery swelled and failed, we
