I wonder if anyone has ever thought of creating a Simplisafe-camera only app, that can be used only for monitoring cameras. I would like to have an Android pad device that constantly monitors outdoor and doorbell cameras, but does not require logging in (except to view prior events).  I would

I agree. A small dedicated screen that would activate upon a doorbell ring would be a plus. We have a front door that does not allow views and this would be useful to screen with.

I really like the system, and this would be a neat new feature in my opinion. I like the idea of a wall mounted tablet computer, or something I can just sit tableside.  Hopefully, the engineers will agree.

This morning I went to turn off our ss 2 system and no response. However the keypad was making a barely audible fast clicking noise. I turned off the system with my phone. I pulled the batteries and tested them and got .5 V. (should be 1.5V). I will swap out batteries and see if this revives the ke

I replaced the batteries and everything is good. All the lithium batteries measured .5 V. ( Last change was 14 months ago) I had noticed the siren not signaling when returning before disarming. I had recently replaced those batteries. Now that works
