Hallway Keypad triggering alarm when in off mode

This morning the Hallway Keypad has triggered the alarm three times when the alarm is in off mode?

There is no warning on the keypad that the battery in the keypad or any other device is low and all the devices appear to be normal.

Thanks, Richard

Hi Richard,

Have you checked if the Panic Button on the top right of the Keypad is:
1. Enabled
2. Potentially being pushed / stuck?

If the Panic Button is what is causing the alarm (which is the only option for an alarm trigger from the Keypad), I would suggest disabling the panic button function.
You can do this in the App through Device Settings -> Keypad.

If the above does not resolve, as a temporary measure, you could remove the Keypad from the system via the App. Device Settings -> Keypad -> Scroll to the bottom and remove.

These suggestions are for immediate support, and further troubleshooting should be taken with oursupport team.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try the disabling of the panic button first (never had to use it yet anyway) and see how that goes.  If problem still persists then my system is meant to be covered as I pay the full monthly subscription so will phone the UK support for a free replacement.

Cheers, R

Now it's just making regular, and annoying, beeping noises and backlight won't go off but still no "low battery" warning?!  Changing batteries anyway and see how that goes...

Nope, still incessantly beeping for no reason.  Replacement it is then.

Hi @rimanock

We would be interested in receiving more information on what you are experiencing with the Keypad, as what you are describing is not an expected or common issue.

Backlight will turn on when near. You can put the keypad in power saving mode, so that it only lights up when you push a button on the Keypad. (Just ensuring you have an understanding of how the backlight is expected to work).

Beeping noises without any user input is definitely not expected. We will have a support agent reach out to you today to investigate further.
If unable to take the call, please call us back on 0800-456-1789

Thanks
