Keypad chime on entry sensor open.

Would love to have the keypads in the house play a chime when a door is open. The chime from the base station can’t be heard from all rooms of the house…. 

The keypad should definitely play a chime like the base station does.

We do have an alternate solution already, in the Wireless Siren. It can relay Entry Chimes, countdown timers, and of course the main alarm siren, all at the much louder 105dB.

 

But we'll also pass on your suggestion to our dev team.

Get the extra siren, I have 2 one inside and one outside and you can make them do anything and I have ours both of them to chime when opening a door and to beep when arming, itsa beautiful thing. The only thing I wish is that they would have it to where instead of a beep when opening a door it will tell you, beep front door and so on, I mean it's already there during test mode

@lance843​ I too wish they would implement the announcements of which sensor was triggered like “front door open” etc. I know this feature has been requested time and time again over the years and the system is clearly capable of it… yet they still haven’t implemented it for some reason…

Wait, does this mean that the doorbell ringing now plays through the wireless siren? That didn't used to be the case did it?

@worthing​ Just checked the app and the aux siren can chime when a door is opened, not when you ring the doorbell.  I read the thread and starting post of this thread closely and that is what was requested.  Doorbell chime is another topic.

@worthing​ no the doorbell will not sound through the extra siren but that would be nice as well. The only thing besides ot having a siren during an alarm is ot can beep during countdown or entry and beep when an entry sensor is open.
