How to disable only camera alerts on my phone.

I am at my wits end. This is such a basic camera feature but it seems to be completely missing from the app and I cannot believe Simplisafe have omitted such a glaring base-level thing. I highly regret this Simplisafe system based on this and another very minor basic thing.

I want the camera on my Simplisafe system to stop alerting me to motion through the app. I want the motion detection to remain active on the camera to record events, but not alert me. There are THREE levels this could be done: Via the camera settings, via the Simplisafe app settings, or via my phone notification settings. None of these have a solution. (I'm on Android)

There are no settings in the motion detection settings of the camera to control notifications. - EDIT: There are notification settings in the camera which are a bit hidden as pointed out by a user below. Unfortunately they don't help me in this case.

There are no settings in the app itself to change notifications about events or devices on my phone.

There are no settings in the Android's app settings specifically about cameras (It has the option to enable/disable Doorbells, why not cameras?)

Here is some extra context which will complicate matters, but that information above is the basics that should be addressed.

I have set my elderly, living alone, disabled neighbor lady up with a Simplisafe system. I have a Simplisafe system for my own home, but it has never had a camera attached, so I didn't know this problem existed.

She asked me to act as a secondary administrator on her system - so I can be alerted to alarms and all that. My existing Simplisafe account is linked to her system. All good. But now I get her damn camera's alerts dozens of times a day. She appreciates them and wants them to be enabled, so turning them off at the camera would not be wise. I want to be able to go into my Simplisafe app and say "Don't alert MY ACCOUNT to this camera's events." Even better, let me disable camera events in the Android settings of the app. There is already a specific Notifications category protocol for that build into every Android app but the app developer (Simplisafe) needs to use it properly.

Thank you for listening to my rant.

Go into Camera Settings, go to Camera Behavior, then go into each "Status" either "Off", "Home" or "Away". In each of there you can choose what notifications you want or don't want.

Hi there. Thanks for your reply. I apologize, my post was written in a confusing way which buried the most important detail - I need to be able to turn them off ONLY ON MY PHONE VIA MY SEPARATE SIMPLISAFE ACCOUNT. This would need to be either on the account or mobile device level, not the system or camera level. The neighbor still needs to receive all notifications, it's just that my account/mobile device does not.

It frustrates me because there is a specific system for controlling notifications by category in the Android OS for apps to do this very specific thing and Simplisafe has opted not to do the work to use it. They have done the work to enable categories such as "doorbell" or "alarms" but not "cameras"

In addition, I've just navigated to those settings and it seems they are not effective. They are already  in the Notifications "Off" position for every alarm state (off, home, away). I still get notifications regardless. Not sure why. Also if I tap into the "on/off" setting of the respective setting, for example to turn it from off to on, it simply takes me to the Android general notifications settings, which does not provide any option to actually change the setting from off to on. It's very confusing and seems to be incorrectly implimented by the app developers.
