In fiddling with my router and access points g playing musical chairs, it wasn't any better at the doorbells. So I put all mesh access points back where they were originally, exactly.

I'm cautiously, very cautiously, optimistic, but worry about future reboots and where the doorbells will decide to connect next time.

I've opened both to live view about 10 times, and had visitors today, where previously black videos or fails to upload.

So far, they're consistently opening live view in 2 and 4 seconds and recording Which isn't that bad.

Maybe you should take down your server more often, that might have helped.πŸ€”πŸ˜‰

Seriously, next reboot may explode this right back to terrible & inconsistent. But one can hope after 15 plus months of mediocre.

Outdoor cams still 8 to 12 seconds live view. Firmware probably.

I could park an access point under each cam, but that would cost more than they're all worth and probably cause new problems.

And trying to figure out what changed if anything.

Me playing with access point positions.

Several reboots.

SimpliSafe "might" have restarted their server or similar when it was recently having issues.

Unknown at this time.

Last comment, period for a while. Tired of going it alone. I guess its expected, I am ornery after all this time, but I make a better friend than enemy.

Shock and awe. Pure, perhaps, temporary astonishment.

Well it continues, both doorbells for some reason recording every time for the last 1.5 days, and opening in 2 - 4 seconds, sometimes better, but not worse yet... We'll see. Outdoor cams, not yet. Probably not, but who knows, tweak the performance mode a little and it might happen there too.

Don't know if anyone cares at this point, no comments, my tech hasn't called back in many weeks, I know their busy, as this forum alone promises at least up to 6 to a dozen calls almost every day. But still...

One last comment, there have been "several" we lost this video due to wifi issues with the cameras. Exclusively side door doorbell I think.

Why it reports less upload is beyond me, they never report over 10 Mbs. 24 is available.

She was watering flowers and pushing them very hard. In comparison there are two outdoor cams above on the portico and they never lost any videos.

We'll see, continuing to monitor doorbells.
