Missing a piece for outside camera mounting?
Hi,
Had my system for about 2.5 years and finally getting around to installing it... i did open everything when i received it so this may have been me but is there a piece missing from the back of the ball joint mount?
From the pictures it looks as though theres a screw in a cap that would pick up the two screws provided? As i'm missing this piece could i just buy the permanent wall mount (https://simplisafe.co.uk/outdoor-camera-mount) or am i still going to find I'm missing the back piece? Appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Hi @drews1f,
You should have a backplate for the Magnetic Mount. You would screw the backplate to the wall, and then turn on the magnetic mount.
We can easily replace this for you if you want to use the magnetic mount.
But you are also welcome to purchase the permanent mount. The permanent mount screws into the bottom of the camera (You will see a silver screw hole) and does not make use of the included magnetic mount.
