Cannot Watch A Live Stream of Outdoor Cameras

Same here, I have 4 outdoor camaras and a smartlock that aren't working now. They camaras are still sending notifications, but I can't open live view. The smartlock is not responding and I have moved my base closer to the door. I also disconnected it from the base and added it. So it is in range, but not for anything else. This system is getting frustrating with the gliches. I have invested too much money and pay for monthly monitoring to just change companies.

Hi @Apolac, 

I broke your comment off into a post of its own so we could troubleshoot your cameras further here. When you go to watch a live stream of your Outdoor Cameras, do you get any error message that prevents you from watching it? 

An inability to watch a camera's live stream can be due to its environment, connection to Wi-Fi, or battery levels. I would recommend following the steps listed out in this Help Center article to see if that helps your cameras live stream.

Regarding your Smart Lock, you mention that the Base Station is close in range, but interference could also impact their communication. There are two types of interference we want to look out for, physical and wireless. Physical interference comes from obstructions getting in the way between the two devices, and wireless interference is caused by another device that that broadcasts at the same frequency as the Base Station. We would want to scan the area around your Smart Lock and Base Station for any potential culprits and then move them to a different area.

@emily_s​ I haven't called or spoken with a tech because I have been working. I will be doing so tomorrow. 

I have reset the door smartlock twice and system still is not able to communicate with it. I have moved the base near the door and has not worked. The batteries on the smartlock were changed not so long ago and I am able to unlock it using the keypad. 

The outdoor camaras are working and sending notifications of movements but I can't view the live stream. It just goes into trouble shooting. I have 4 outdoor camaras and it's doing the same with all 4. I have a doorbell as well but no issues with that or the 18 sensors throughout the house. It's just the camaras and the smartlock.

Camaras and smartlock are working now. I got with a tech and resolved the issue. When the firmware update dropped, I installed it thru my app and it was "successfully". However, the pad didn't show update, so I thought it was updated. After checking for updates on the pad as tech suggested, the pad had not updated. Long story short, system, camaras and smartlock needed to update and reset.
