Panic Button Installation Guide
Updated
Overview
If there’s ever an emergency, you can trigger an alarm by pressing the Panic Button down for 2 seconds. You’ll know that the Panic Button has sent the signal to our monitoring center* when the red LED on the upper right corner flashes. You can also change the Panic Button’s settings to send an alarm signal under duress, so it doesn’t sound your system’s alarm.
Once installed, the Panic Button will always be active and ready for use, no matter the state your SimpliSafe® system is armed in.
*The Panic Button will only communicate to our monitoring center if you are subscribed to one of our professional monitoring plans.
