Receiving Your Gift Card from a SimpliSafe® Promotion or Offer

Customers can earn Visa Gift Cards from SimpliSafe® in one of two ways:

  • Website Promotion or Offer

  • SimpliSafe® Referral Program (Refer-A-Friend)

Each gift card program has specific qualifications that must be met to qualify and receive your gift card.

What are Website Promotions or Offers?

During select promotional periods, a Gift Card can be earned with the purchase of a new SimpliSafe® Security System. A gift card line item will be listed in your invoice during checkout, and once your purchase has been made, you will receive a confirmation email outlining the details of the gift card program.

Why haven’t I received my Promotional Gift Card?

If you have not received your gift card yet, please check to see if you meet the following criteria:

  • Monitoring for your system must be activated within 35 days of purchasing your SimpliSafe® Security System

    • The confirmation email you receive upon purchase will outline the date by which you must activate monitoring

  • You must retain active monitoring for 35+ days post-activation

  • There is a limit of 1 gift card per customer

Once you’ve met the above criteria, you’ll receive an email about redeeming your gift card. You must confirm your email address by following the link in this email and entering your email address in the confirmation form. Once your email address has been verified, your gift card will be sent from rewards@reward.tremendous.com, our gift card partner.

Troubleshooting Gift Card Redemption

If you do not receive your email right away, please:

  • Check your junk/spam folders

  • Confirm that you used the same email address that is listed in your SimpliSafe® order confirmation email

  • Ensure that your Pro Plus, Pro, or Core monitoring subscription has been active for 35+ days

  • Only one gift card may be earned per account

What is the Referral Program?

When you refer a friend or family member to SimpliSafe® through https://simplisafe.com/share, you’re able to earn gift cards by signing up for our referral program. Through this program, you’re able to share a link via Email or be given a link to send directly through text, messaging app, etc.  If your friend uses your discount code to complete a purchase, you may qualify for a gift card.

Why haven’t I received the Gift Card for my referral?

If you have not received your gift card yet, please check to see if you meet the following criteria:

  • Did your friend receive the Refer-A-Friend link and use that link to purchase their system?

  • Once your friend purchase their system they must retain the system for 35+ days

If you’ve met the criteria above, after 35+ days, you should receive your gift card to the email associated with your account.  This email will come from rewards@reward.tremendous.com, our gift card partner.

Troubleshooting Gift Card Redemption

How and Where can I use my Gift Card?

Visa gift cards are accepted digitally at most major retailers. For issues during checkout at a third-party retailer, please consult with the retailer directly. Visa gift cards cannot be used on SimpliSafe.com to purchase equipment or for purchasing monitoring subscriptions.

Visa gift cards can only be used when the total amount of the purchase is equal to or lower than the current gift card balance. For example, if you have a gift card valued at $100 but your order is $125, the purchase would decline. For more information, please see the Tremendous Terms & Conditions.
