If you have enabled text alerts for your SimpliSafe® system, you may need to re-verify your phone number from time to time to continue receiving texts.
Why Do I Need to Re-Verify My Phone Number?
There are a couple of reasons why you may need to re-verify your phone number:
We were unable to deliver a text message to your phone number.
You changed your monitoring address.
You upgraded or downgraded your monitoring subscription.
How to Re-Verify Your Phone Number
If you stopped receiving text alerts and think you need to re-verify your phone number, you can do this in the SimpliSafe® Web App by taking the following steps:
Log into your account at webapp.simplisafe.com.
On the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen, click “Alerts”.
Next to your phone number, you will see a red “Verify” button. Click that to re-verify your phone number.
