How to Add Another Property to Your SimpliSafe® Account

Some customers may need to add an additional property to their SimpliSafe® Account, such as when you add a system to cover a summer home or another business. Managing multiple properties can be done with ease within the SimpliSafe® Mobile App or Web App. Once you’ve added your 3rd active location, you’ll see all your systems in a new property manager dashboard on the Web App (see below).
This new view will allow you to see all of your properties at a glance, and understand the system status for each location. Your property will be highlighted in red if an alarm occurs, to easily draw your attention to that location so you can investigate what’s going on with a few clicks.
You can add a new location at any time within the SimpliSafe® Mobile App or Web App using the steps below.
Using the SimpliSafe® Mobile App:
Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App on your phone or tablet
Choose the three-bar menu in the upper left corner of the app
Select Install a New System from the navigation menu
Follow the on-screen prompts to install your new system at this location
Using the SimpliSafe® Web App:
Log in to the Web App using your computer or a tablet
Choose the Activate New Service button
If you do not see the Activate New Service button click the three-bar menu on the upper left corner of the screen to access it in the navigation menu
Select Add or Upgrade Monitoring
Enter the serial number for your Base Station
Follow the remaining on-screen prompts to install your new system at this location
Once you have added the new property to your account, you’ll be able to manage it using the Mobile App or Web App.
On the Mobile App, use the Home Icon in the upper right corner of the app to choose the property you wish to manage.
On the Web App, you can manage it from the left-hand navigation bar or if you have more than 3 properties you can use the property manager dashboard to view and switch between locations.
