Smart Lock Series 2 does not fully retract the deadbolt
I have a commercial location with a standard deadbolt. When using the SL it does not fully retract the deadbolt. We shut the door and ran the calibration. We can hear the deadbolt moving and locking. When it goes to the unlock position, it doesn't fully retract so you're still locked in. We are using the green lock adapter. We also tried it with the blue lock adapter and that doesn't work at all.
The door has no mechanical interference with the deadbolt and opens and closes fine with the key. It's smooth and you can hear the bolt sliding in and out when operated with the door closed, just never fully retracts. We tried reinstalling and recalibrating a few times and it always did the same thing.
What should I try now?

Thanks for the detailed post and the video this helps a ton. When watching the video in slow motion you can see where it gets caught, mostly likely internally. If loosening the mounting plate doesn't help I would advise changing the bolt.
You can also see in the image where it protrudes from the door "caving" inwards. This may also negatively impact performance.
