Not In Development

Two suggestions and new ideas - related to each other but can be developed separately.

1. Currently, the verbal announcement for entry sensor open is only on the base station but that announcement is very useful and should be audible in other more distant areas of the home.  My suggestion is to have a 'remote speaker device' that can be placed in other areas of the home.

I do already have the siren in a few areas of my home but the siren doesn't have the verbal announcements (it only has a tone when an entry sensor opens which is not specific to which door opened).

2.  I have adult kids coming and going sometimes late at night and it would be nice to have scheduled 'low volume' times for the entry sensor announcements.  I don't need to know that my kids are arriving home at 3 am, for example.

Perhaps either low volume settings adjustable by time of day or even better, adjustable by time of day AND customizable for each entry sensor would be even better.  For example, I would quiet the front door and garage entry sensors from 11pm - 7am but all other sensors would not be quiet during late night hours.

Hi @gsgallant ,

Thanks for submitting your ideas! We do request that in future, you make only on request per thread. That way, it's easier to track each request, and we can tag each thread with a status to let others know how far along it is from being implemented.

But we do have active threads already for the requests you've mentioned in this thread:
