Smart Lock Suggestions

I have a Smart Lock on a side garage door that I use often when working in the yard. I also have Auto Lock configured which, in general, is useful for that door. However, the options for Auto Lock are too limited. I have two suggestions. First, the timer for initiating Auto Lock appears to be based on when the door was last opened. If the door has been open for, say 5 minutes (my current configuration), as soon as it is closed it locks. That is not the behavior I would like. I would suggest the timer be based on when the door is closed (which the sensor should detect)--or at least make that an option. Second, the Auto Lock timers (30s, 1m, and 5m) are too short. I would like 30m, so some more options with respect to the time would be appreciated. Thank you for listening.
