Show Outdoor Camera battery percentage in app
I noticed recently that in the webapp under the Devices menu, the outdoor camera battery levels changed from a percentage readout to a battery symbol. I find the battery symbol not as useful as the percentage readout. Can this be changed back to the percentage readout in the webapp? Also, can the android phone app be change to percentage readout vs the battery symbol for the outdoor cameras?

Hi all,
Quick update on this. Battery percentage is now displayed for all battery-enabled cameras in the Cameras tab. So I'm glad to report that this request has been IMPLEMENTED.

I prefer the percentage vs the battery icon as well.

Thanks for forwarding to dev team. But, to repeat, the webapp under the Devices menu, used to show % and somehow it was changed to a battery icon.

show charge percentage would be more useful for determining charging status with solar panels, etc.

I recall recently seeing a gauge showing the battery level in green for a camera that had a well charged batter and in red for a battery that had a low charge level. It also showed a relative level of charge in the icon. I don't remember if it was in the app or on the web page.
Is it still there and if so, where is it.
The black icon that just shows a lightning bolt when the batter is charging is pretty much useless.

I find the battery % info missing to be almost worth ditching the system for and I can't/won't recommend SimpliSafe to anyone with such vital info being not available, seriously this is a major issue to me.

I agree as someone I know has simplisafe as well and they have an iPhone and there's say the percentage and my android doesn't and I would love for that to be percentage as well, hope that becomes a thing soon

I agree 100%! The app needs to show the battery's charge level in a percentage. Why does my friends show on his IPhone and not on my Android? Discrimination! Lol

I have an iPhone. Yesterday my battery on the app showed a blue battery level and the percentage at 50%. Now today I woke up to looking at my battery percentage and instead I had a black battery with no percentage. So, luckily when it gets down to 50% I charge my extra battery. Well after I replaced the new battery it never changed and is staying a black battery with no percentage of the battery.
