Sensor not detecteed after replacing battery

When a sensor battery gets low or dead the sensor stops responding as expected. When the battery is changed the sensor doesn't again become responsive. The user is required to remove the sensor from the system and add the sensor again. This is laborious and inconvenient to the user especially when they have 40ish sensors.

Clearing the warning in the mobile app has no effect.

This is a bug and failure of system design and should be fixed which is easily done via firmware update.

@MSStateDawg Yes, the quickest way to clear a Low Battery notification for a sensor after replacing the battery is to remove the device and then add it back to your system.
