Holiday themed Video Doorbell Pro chimes
Hello, I was curious to know if an holiday-themed chimes from the Video Doorbell Pro would ever be in development? As a parcel delivery driver, I see a lot of different doorbells. It’s pretty neat to ring a doorbell and a “scary voice” sounds off for Halloween or if “Jingle Bells” starts to play around the holidays. Anyways, I thought this would be awesome to have.

Hi @sosamikey ,
SimpliSafe's Video Doorbell Pro needs to be plugged into an existing wired mechanical doorbell for both power and sound. So we're a bit limited to just whatever the doorbell system itself can produce.
The sound that comes from the camera itself though, and from the app notification, is under our control and would theoretically be changeable.

Yes! Would love to see this for the holidays. Friends have shown off their spooky and Christmas door bell chimes on ring and nest.

I see that eufy has there video doorbell will play or will have the option in there app to play holiday music during holidays, can we get something like that my wonderful simplisafe crew?

Nest works similar to this and plugs into a hard wired doorbell. When sending the notification to the base station you would have the base station play the music. I get that the bell itself cannot be changed but it should be easy to add this to the base station. This is one of the biggest things that may have us reinstall our Nest doorbell, though I’m fighting the urge to do so.
