V2 Base Silent failure: No notice, no warnings, no emails

Base station (V2) froze / locked-up sometime about June 15.  Get home and notice today that it's not working (been away).  Control panel shows all sensors are "malfunction" or "offline", but I received zero notification, emails, or anything that the base station had failed!  That's a full week without protection.  I pay for full monitoring.

Fortunately a reset (unplug, pull batteries) worked and it's all good now.  But silent failure mode is unacceptable.
