Google's Gemini Transition causing issues...
My SimpliSafe/Google connection was working fine. (Past tense is key here). Yesterday I noticed that when I asked Gemini for the status of my SimpliSafe system on my Pixel 10 , I got general information about the company, but not the specific status of my system. Headed out to the garage, backed my car out and once Android Auto loaded, that still has Google Assistant, I asked again and got the expected and correct answer that my SimpliSafe system was disarmed.
Yes, I and many others know the rollout of Gemini to all Google products, especially Android Auto, has been a cluster, but 1. want to make sure SS is aware of the situation and 2. SimpliSafe should be proactive with an advisory that until Google gets it act together, customers can run into issues with the integration.
Update: Sunday March 23rd. Today Gemini asked me if I want to activate "total personalization" so it could access all of my Google apps." I okayed it, and then Google Gemini (and Home) incorrectly stated my SS3 system was armed in Home mode. It was not, in Off mode.
The cluster continues.

Update: Android auto remains on Google Assistant, works as it should with SS. Pixel 10 with Gemini, opens Google Home but just sits there. Gemini now responds transition is not complete.

Tick tock, tick tock Google...Sunday March 29th and 2 + days to your self imposed deadline for Gemini rollout to be completed on Android Auto. GA on AA still works seamlessly with SS to tell me the accurate status of my system but not so great on my Gemini installed Pixel 10 phone. Gemini instantly recognizes the request, opens Google Home but then sits there like a rock and does zip. Yes, this is not a killer and must have feature but hopefully will work by the end of the 31st.
