CES 2026 officially starts tomorrow Tuesday Jan 6th
Some preliminaries today but CES 2026 officially opens tomorrow. Last year Christian Cerda and other execs appeared; new leadership very recently, who knows what will happen this week. Gemini and Google alerts on, ready to go! If anyone reads or hears of news from SS, please post it hear! Based on previous history, SS won't and customers will be the last to know. Day 3 at CES and SafeWise announced the winner of its Best of CES Safety Tech Awards 2026 which went to...drum roll please...SimpliSafe! SimpliSafe has been showing off the Series 2 hardware and, of course, the recent introduction of Active Guard and its overall AI features.
Will post if anything else comes up on the radar.

CES is over, and IMO I don't remember any CES being more boring. RGB tech for new TVs, walking robots, repackaged battery generators...yawn. SimpliSafe, yes you have an innovative every effective product/service with Active Guard but what have you done for us customers lately? Fix that siren config issue with Active Guard would be a nice start, and as I reminded you in another thread to get going on that WIFI water shutoff unit, garage door sensors, custom mode to add "off", "home" and "away", connectivity with IoT device - turn on my 11 lights during an alarm event - the least keeps growing.
Here's to an exciting 2026..there's a lot of it left!
