New BT router

I have been sent a new digital voice router which means I have to reset every wifi device in home.  On samplisafe I have reset the base station and the front door battery camera.  But the two indoor cameras will not see the new network?  Any help appreciated.

Hi @simonwrigby

It will be good to understand which indoor camera you have (Wired or Wireless). 

In general, these considerations should resolve the issue you are facing: 

  • As long as your BT Smart Hub 2 is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz WiFi network, your SimpliSafe system should be able to connect to it.
  • You may need to ensure that the 2.4 GHz band is enabled on your BT Smart Hub 2 and that it is not hidden.
  • Some users have found it helpful to separate the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks (giving them different SSIDs) for easier device connection. 

It may be worth while typing in the network name manually to connect to it if it is not finding the network automatically. 
We recommend deleting the devices from your system, setting them up from scratch if they are the wired Indoor Cameras.
