Why am I asked to log in to the app all the time now on my phone?
My iPhone regularly updates the Simplisafe app, as it always has. For some reason in the last 2 weeks I have had to log in on the app, twice. This was very inconvenient, since I needed to check my doorbell camera when it rang. There isn't time to type in a password in an urgent situation. This has nothing to do with a browser and cookies, so I am worried about allowing app updates now.

I agree. It’s ridiculous to have to enter all this information when all that should be needed is a quick password like the number of your house where the camera is installed. It’s 1 am and I wanted to check who was at my door from my bedroom and I couldn’t because of all the problems trying!!
