Outdoor camera and doorbell camera record nearly every minute at night
Out of the blue last night, with no changes made to my nighttime settings, one of my outdoor cameras (less than 2 months old) and one of my doorbell cameras recorded nearly every minute overnight with 99% of the time there was nothing to record! Drained my outdoor camera battery. My problems with SimpliSafe have run the gamut of not recording when they should or over recording when there’s nothing going on. Also last night, there were multiple (3-5 times) instances of recordings from the same minute (think 3-5 recordings of 1:55 am) all through the night, minute after minute for the most part! What is going on SimpliSafe? It’s ridiculous to have to view all these videos when there is no activity and wake up to a drained battery.

Hi @diana!
This is a known issue that our team is working on resolving. It may be fixed in the next firmware update, so make sure to stay up to date on those!

It what we call the death loop and all mine will do it sometimes put of nowhere and the only way I found was to go out and either pull battery out and reinstall and if that doesn't work pull the whole camera down and delete and reinstall after reset all again. It happens at night and it will get stuck in a loop like it can't get out and the spotlight will stay on the whole time
