Settings Unlocked for Cameras Enrolled in Active Guard Outdoor Protection
If you have an Outdoor Security Camera Series 2 or Video Doorbell Pro enrolled in Active Guard Outdoor Protection, you may have noticed that some of the cameras' settings have a "locked" icon next to them. We heard your feedback, and we're happy to announce that we've unlocked several settings for cameras enrolled in Active Guard Outdoor Protection. You can now adjust the following settings for each camera:
- Outdoor Security Camera Series 2
- Night Vision
- Video Quality
- Status Light
- Siren
- Video Doorbell Pro
- Night Vision
- Video Quality
If you still see these settings locked for your cameras, please make sure that the Outdoor Camera Series 2 is running firmware version 1.49 and that your SimpliSafe® Mobile App is up to date.

@simplisafe_admin Can you now have the outdoor sirens only sound if initiated by a SimpliSafe live monitoring agent when on Active Guard? In other words, if I accidently trip a sensor inside, the only sirens that go off are inside, while outside remain silent?
