BASE DOES NOT ANNOUNCE WHEN DOOR SENSOR IS OPEN

I got my kit 1 month ago. From the begging the base has not been announcing when a door sensor is open or closed even though I have enabled this option for each one in the app. The base does recognize when door is open or closed as the secret alarm but I would like to hear any time a door is open.

Any suggestions?

Hi @georgesanchez, 

 

Have you had a look at this article yet and ensured you are meeting all the requirements? 

  • Sensor has to be named from the pre-set list. Custom names do not allow for named alerts. 
  • This feature is only available on the Pro Premium Monitoring plan (UK) 

Secret Alerts should only send you push notifications. When you do not have secret alerts or name announcement enabled, then the base should chime whenever an entry sensor is opened (Given that you have not turned the alerts volume off on the Base Station).
