Using SimpliSafe® With August Locks

August Locks are smart locks that can be controlled via your smartphone or through other devices like your SimpliSafe® System. Once integrated, August Locks will automatically lock or unlock depending on the state of your system. This integration is compatible with both the Pro and Standard versions of the locks!

• A supported residential or business monitoring subscription:

• Self-Monitoring with Camera Recordings

Setting Up August Locks Integration

1. Open your SimpliSafe® Online Account using the browser of your choice

1. Please note that it is not currently possible to set up the integration from the SimpliSafe® App

2. Navigate to Integrations from the sidebar menu

1. If you do not see Integrations, please select the three-bar menu in the upper left corner of the screen first

3. Scroll down to August Locks

4. Click on the blue Authorize button

5. You’ll now be taken to the August Lock website with a login screen

6. Enter your August Lock credentials

7. You’ll be emailed a PIN to authorize the integration

8. Enter the PIN from your email and click Next

9. Click the Accept Button to pair your SimpliSafe® System with your August Lock

10. From here you’ll be taken to a new screen with different options available as to how you want the lock to react in different arming states

TIP: The name of your lock is dictated by your settings within August Lock. You will not be able to edit the name of the lock within the SimpliSafe® App or your Online Account.
