SimpliCam® Wired Indoor Camera LED Status Light Colors

The status light on the front of your SimpliCam® Wired Indoor Security Camera indicates key information about your camera. At a glance, it can tell you if your camera is recording, if it isn’t connected to Wi-Fi, and so much more. The table below shows which colors you can see on your SimpliCam® Indoor Camera and what they mean.
LED Behavior | What does it mean? |
Off (No Visible LED) | Privacy Shutter is closed, or the LED has been disabled in Camera Settings |
Flashing White | Camera is ready for set up. Use our installation guide for the best experience |
Solid Blue | The camera is connected to Wi-Fi and functioning properly. This light indicates the camera is in standby mode and ready to detect motion or be live streamed from |
Flashing Blue Light | Your camera is actively detecting motion or being live streamed from. Additionally, if a secret alert has been triggered, the camera will display a flashing blue light to record activity |
Small Red Light | A small red light at the top of the camera lens indicates that night vision is on. You can adjust night vision using your camera’s settings |
Flashing Yellow Light | The camera is unable to connect to the Internet. Check your connection and/or contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance |
Solid Yellow Light | Reset Your SimpliCam® and ensure SimpliCam® is plugged into a working power outlet |
Flashing Red Light | The camera is unable to connect to the Internet. Check your connection and/or contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance |
Solid Purple Light | Indicates an issue with your SimpliCam®. Contact support for a replacement. |
