SimpliCam® Wired Indoor Camera LED Status Light Colors

The status light on the front of your SimpliCam® Wired Indoor Security Camera indicates key information about your camera. At a glance, it can tell you if your camera is recording, if it isn’t connected to Wi-Fi, and so much more. You can watch the video for a hands-on look at what the LEDs will look like on your camera, or reference the chart below to learn more at a quick glance.
Color | Behavior | Description |
White | Blinking | Your camera is ready for set up |
White | Solid/Steady | Your camera is connecting to the servers |
Blue | Solid/Steady | Your camera is connected and ready to use |
Blue | Blinking | Your camera is currently in use - either a recording is occurring or someone is watching a live stream |
No Light | N/A | Double check the Status Light settings under Camera Settings, or try using a different power outlet to rule out any issues with the source |
Purple | Solid | Indicates an issue with your SimpliCam®. Our support team can send you a replacement. |
