Base Station Light Won't Turn Off

The Base Station boasts a wide variety of LED colors, but has 3 distinct lights in use: the base light, wall power light, and the trouble signal light.

You can turn off these lights within the SimpliSafe® Mobile App, or by using your Keypad. 

NOTE: You cannot turn off the light for when your system is armed in Home or Away mode.

Adjusting the Lights for your Base Station

Using the SimpliSafe® Mobile App

1. Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App on your phone or tablet

2. Choose My System from the bottom navigation bar

3. Select Base Station Settings

4. Tap on the “Status Lights” section

5. Toggle On or Off the lights listed here, as necessary

6. Choose SAVE in the upper right corner of the app screen to save your selections

Using the Keypad

1. Press the Menu button on your Keypad

2. Enter your Master PIN

3. Select System Settings

4. Scroll down to the light setting you wish to manage (Base light, Wall Power Light, Trouble Light) and select it to toggle it On or Off
