Why is SimpliSafe® changing its monitoring plan prices?
We do our best to keep our prices stable and only make modest changes when truly necessary to continue investing to provide you with the best possible experience and security. Keeping our customers safe and making that safety as accessible as possible is our priority.
We have been a leader in disrupting and broadening access in the home security industry, introducing the DIY installation model and offering accessible professional monitoring rates. In keeping with this, we will always strive to have affordable and transparent pricing for our customers.
Which monitoring plan prices are changing? When do these changes go into effect?
Effective July 21, 2025, our monitoring plan prices are $79.99 for Pro Plus, $49.99 for Pro, $32.99 for Core (formerly Fast Protect™,) $22.99 for Standard, and $9.99 for Self Monitoring with Camera Recordings. Impacted customers will receive an email notification from SimpliSafe® before any changes to their billing.
Will all of my plans receive a price increase if I have multiple monitoring subscriptions?
If you have multiple monitoring plans, you may receive a separate email communication notifying you of a price increase to the other plans. SimpliSafe® will not increase the prices of any plans without an email notice to inform you of any price change.

How can I switch plans?
Call our Contact Center at 1-888-783-8441 if you would like to switch plans, and one of our agents will be happy to assist you.
How can I cancel my monitoring subscription?
If you would like to cancel your subscription, you can call our Customer Service team at 1-888-783-8441. Your safety is our top priority, so our team will verify your Safe Word to ensure that this cancellation is authentic, and then make the changes to your account. If you ever change your mind, you can always resubscribe to any of our monitoring plans.
