How To Find or Change Your Master PIN

What Is A Master PIN?
Your Master PIN is a four-digit sequence used to arm and disarm your SimpliSafe® system, lock and unlock your Smart Lock, and is the number required in order to access the Keypad’s menu. When setting up your system, you will be prompted to create a Master PIN.
Please note that the Master PIN is different from your Safe Word. Your Safe Word will be needed to make changes to your monitoring subscriptions and to verify or cancel an alarm event when you’re on the phone with our team of experts.
How To Find Your Master PIN
If you forgot your Master PIN, or would like to change it, we can help you regain access to your system and reset it via the SimpliSafe® mobile app by taking the following steps:
Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App on your phone or tablet
Select My System from the bottom navigation menu
Next, select Location Settings from the menu
Scroll down to Safe Word & PINs
Select PINs
Tap on the field under Master PIN
To reveal the Master PIN, tap on the dots to expose your 4 digit PIN
How To Change Your Master PIN
You can change your Master PIN in the SimpliSafe® mobile app or on your Keypad by taking the following steps:
SimpliSafe® Mobile App
Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App on your phone or tablet
Select My System from the bottom navigation menu
Next, select Location Settings from the menu
Scroll down to Safe Word & PINs
Select PINs
Tap on the field under Master PIN
To change your Master PIN, hit backspace on your phone or tablet keyboard, then enter the new 4 digit code
Be sure to tap on SAVE in the upper right corner to save your selections before exiting this screen
Keypad
Push the Menu button
Enter your Master PIN
Scroll up to “PINs and select Master
Type in your new four-digit sequence and hit Set
