How to Create a SimpliSafe® Account

During the checkout experience on SimpliSafe.com, you may be prompted to create an account. Doing that ahead of receiving your system will automatically tie your account to the system being shipped to you.
If you do not create an account during checkout, you’ll be prompted to create one during the setup process of your Base Station and Keypad.
Using the Mobile App:
If you haven’t yet, be sure to download the SimpliSafe® Mobile App to your phone or tablet
Open the app on your phone or tablet
Click on the Create Account button at the bottom of the screen
Enter your email address
Then, enter your password on the popup that appears
Your password must meet the following requirements:
At least 8 characters
At least 3 of the following
Lower case letters (a-z)
Upper case letters (A-Z)
Numbers (0-9)
Special characters (e.g. !@#$%^&*)
Next, you’ll need to enter your phone number to secure your account
Once entered, you’ll receive either a text message or phone call to verify you own that number
Enter the code in the field then tap on continue to proceed
You’ll be presented with a recovery code to regain access to your account in the event you’re unable to get in via password
You’ll now be presented with the option to enable Biometric Authentication, we recommend skipping this step for now by tapping on Remind me later. You can always turn it on in the future through the SimpliSafe® App settings
That’s it! Your account is now setup and ready for use!
Using the Web App:
Navigate to the Web App in a browser on your computer, phone, or tablet
Click on Sign Up on the bottom of the screen
Enter your email address. Then, click Continue
Enter your password in the field below your email address and press Continue
Your password must meet the following requirements:
At least 8 characters
At least 3 of the following

Upper case letters (A-Z)
Numbers (0-9)
Special characters (e.g. !@#$%^&*)
Next, you’ll need to enter your phone number to secure your account
Once entered, you can choose between either a text message or a phone call to verify you own that number
Enter the code in the field and then click Continue to proceed
You’ll be presented with a recovery code to regain access to your account in the event you’re unable to get in via password
