How do I Change my Monitoring Plan?

We understand that your monitoring needs may change, that’s why we made it easy for our customers to change their plans accordingly. You can read through the article, or use the anchor links below to jump to the section of your choosing.

Upgrading Your Monitoring Plan
If you wish to upgrade your monitoring plan, you can do so at any time within the SimpliSafe® Mobile or Web App.
SimpliSafe® Mobile App
Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App
Navigate to the three-bar menu on the top left corner of the screen.
Select “Plan & Billing” from the navigation menu.
If you have multiple locations, select the location on the top of the screen that you’d like to upgrade your monitoring plan for.
Under “Your Plan” select the new monitoring plan you would like to upgrade to.
If you have multiple locations and would like to upgrade their monitoring plans, repeat these steps for each additional location.
SimpliSafe® Online Account
Log into the SimpliSafe® Online Account in the browser of your choice.
Click on “Monitoring” on the left side of the screen.
Under the display of your current monitoring plan, click on “Upgrade”.
Select the monitoring plan you would like to upgrade to.
If you have multiple locations and would like to upgrade their monitoring plans, repeat these steps for each additional location.
Downgrading Your Monitoring Plan
To downgrade your monitoring plan, give us a call 1-888-783-8441. Our team of specialists will be able to review current offerings and find a plan that works best for you.
Please note that only the Account Owner can downgrade a monitoring plan. You may need to verify your identity via Safe Word before our team can make any changes to your account. This added layer of protection is to ensure that only authorized individuals are making changes to your account, to ensure your safety and security.

Cancelling Your Monitoring Plan
We’ll be sad to see you go, however, if you find that a monitoring subscription no longer fits your needs you can contact us or give us a call at 1-888-783-8441 to cancel your existing subscription.
Please note that only the Account Owner can cancel a monitoring plan. You may need to verify your identity via Safe Word before our team can make any changes to your account. This added layer of protection is to ensure that only authorized individuals are making changes to your account, to ensure your safety and security.
Once your cancellation has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email to the account owner’s email address on file.
